This was a really beautiful region called the Calanques, between Cassis and Marsaille. All the coast is white like this, its really impressive! And the colour of the water is a true true blue. Look closely at the photo you can see all of the people on the beach... So so touristy the South of France, and this is at the start of May, its 10 times as bad in July, August apparently. I was lucky to be there on a boat, it was such a relief driving off into the open sea from beaches like that. And from towns like St Tropez where walking the streets is difficult because of the tourists! But yeah, Calanques a very beautiful part of the Côte d'Azur
