The other morning we took the dog for a walk, French Alps style! Raquette, it's kind of a cross between cross-country skiing and normal tramping. You strap your boots into these flat things with spikes on the bottom, your toe is fixed but you heel moves up and down as you walk. Thats a really bad description, just look at the picture and imagine how it goes! Annie my host Mum on the left, Rosanne the dog/my host sister she does everything with us!
